Inspiration can come from anywhere. At the time of Syndicate’s Spring 2019 design I was really inspired by Shift’s Endless ad campaign. The imagery and type treatments were cool and it made me think of how I could convey that Endlessness feeling on an actual gearset. Logo repetition would convey the feeling. Initially this graphic was only intended for Shift’s Black Label line, but the graphic came out so great that Shift wanted an additional spin for the entry level White Label gear set as well.
